    Artistic Director, Walt Frasier

    Walt Frasier co-founded EIGHT IS NEVER ENOUGH in 2002. Since then, Walter has served as Casting Director, Producer, EmCee, Pianist, Uke, Guitar, Improv Player and teacher. Frasier is now also the author of numerous comedy text books, all available on Amazon Kindle Unlimited for free.

    Singer / Actor

    In addition to 20+ years in comedy, Frasier has performed internationally in theater, opera, and music. Right before turning to comedy in 2002, Frasier appeared in “Fiddler on the Roof” at Gateway Playhouse, Bellport NY, “Rocky Horror” at Cultural Arts Center, Bethpage NY, and the 2nd National Tour of Scarlet Pimpernel. Walters first professional credits include Washington DC area dinner theaters. Frasier has song in New York and Washington DC area churches for 30+ years and sang Opera in many smaller companies and workshops from Washington DC, New York City and Italy. Favorite roles include Harold Hill (Music Man), Rodolfo (La Boheme), Henry VIII (A Man for All Seasons), Fernando (Cosi Fan Tutti), Frederic (Pirates of Penzance) etc.

    Director

    While still in college, Frasier got the itch to direct. In addition to smaller productions of lesser known shows, he has made a name for himself at high schools and middle schools directing Broadway shows: Into The Woods, Lion King, Fiddler on the Roof (reviewed by the Jewish Forward), Much Ado About Nothing (twice), Pirates of Penzance, Bye Bye Birdie, numerous smaller or lesser known plays, scenes, cabaret/variety and improv / Sketch comedy shows.

    Teacher

    In addition to Artist Director, Walt Frasier is the lead teaching artist and professional development programming expert. He has worked with 1000s of corporate teams, teaching staff, camp staff, and offered workshops and residencies at k12 schools. In addition to our own contracts, Frasier is a go to Improv expert for NYC area Arts Horizons, THEY Improv and previously served as Director of Instruction for The Comedy Hall of Fame.
